I went down to Norfolk to visit my parents. It was a very long drive but worth it in the end. The highlight of my trip was going to a zoo and seeing a tiger very close up!

    Easter Holidays 07

In the Easter holidays my Granny, my Granddad and me went to Ardmair caravan site in our caravan because I was going to the Feis Rois. I am only in P.5 so I couldn’t stay at the accommodation. My big sister Zoë was staying with her friend Marsaili at the Ceilidh Place Clubhouse. There are three classes that you choose to do. My three choices were drumming, fiddle and creative writing. Everybody was in a Gaelic class. I was in Gaelic class E and on the first day classes A-E met a giant purple egg shaped monster called Dwelli. He taught us how to say phrases such as Haguma, which means I’m fine.
Throughout the week I met new friends and had lots of fun and on Friday there was a big Ceilidh and all the first choice classes preformed. My drumming class preformed with the accordions and the guitars. The whole Feis preformed the whole feis song which was in Gaelic. It was about a man sailing to Spain. I will definitely go next year.

In the first week of the holdays I helped Mum clean the caravan so that Kirsten, Lauren and Bethany and there Mum and Dad could stay. On Easter Sunday we went to A.Lynn’s house for easter lunch. After lunch we went down the canal to roll our eggs.
