Just a short post to say a massive thank you to all the parents and community who supported our Christmas Fayre on Friday. It was a very successful event!

Huge thanks also to Miss Bate and Mrs McClelland for their orchestrating of the whole event and to the rest of the Marybank staff for their tireless help and support. Finally, thanks to all the fabulous children who once again shone (in the dark evening sky!) in so many ways. You did us proud!

Our school Christmas Fayre went brilliantly. We raised roughly £700 and Santa was very popular with all the children, young and old. The competitions were guess the name of the teddie, Rudolf hoopla, stick the carrot nose on the snow man, guess how many pieces of pasta are in the jar, snowman treasure hunt, tombola and much more! Thank you to everyone who came and supported our school.

At the Christmas fayre on the 12th of December at the Fairburn Memorial Hall we will be selling various handmade things (made by the pupils) like Christmas tree decorations and loads more! You can buy them at the fayre at 6.30pm. We will be sending out order forms to parents and you can also ask the school to put some of the items aside. Hope you can come along and buy some!

Don’t forget that our Christmas Fayre takes place on Friday 12th December. The fun begins at 6.30pm when the pupils will entertain you with a selection of traditional and modern Christmas songs. The singing will take place outside in the Fairburn Memorial Hall carpark.

After the singing is over, the fayre itself will be begin and inside the hall you will be able to find a wide range of arts, crafts, games as well as hot refreshments to allow you to defrost!
