It was a hot afternoon there was nothing much intersting happening. Then it was playtime at the school so the teacher Mr. Danson walked to the post office. There he had a piece of cloth he set on fire with a lighter. Then he chucked it into the post office and ran. The fireman was told about the fire from his colleague at the firestation so went there straight away.

Unfortunately Mr. Danson got caught in a silver birch tree that was right beside the post office and he couldn’t get out. He started to shout for help and there and then the tree set on fire. Then along came a nurse running and a policeman cycling on a bike.

The nurse slowed down to a jog. Then a fireman who was doing gymnastics put the fire out with a hose pipe. The nurse took Mr. Danson to the hospital.

Mr. Danson was in the hospital for fifteen days. He had the same thing to eat eat every day porrage for brekfast, mash patatoe for lunch and ham and broccoli for dinner. He could only watch on the T.V. swimming, ballet dancing and football. He had to have his food mixed with a food mixer all the time.

After he got out of the hospital he hedded straight for home. On his way home a man with a lasso, lassoed him and pulled him into an allyway.
